Today is the first day of the rest of my blog . . .

Ok - MySpace wasn't cutting it, so I decided to set up an independent scrapping blog.

Here I will try to limit my posts to scrap related topics, which of course frequently meld into life events. I want my pages to represent my life though - not just the obvious events such as birthdays, holidays and firsts. I want my grandchildren and their children to relish the details of the pages, but most importantly the insight into who I was and what my life was like on a daily basis.

I've become seriously addicted to the scrapbook group challenges. I find that they are pushing me creatively. Knowing someone else will be looking at these pages forces me to do my best I suppose - simple as that!
